History:
It was bought as a transporter van in Volkswagen AG in some cold place
of Germany in 1990's by a german's couple about 50 years old, there,
they transformed it into westy to use it in the summers only driving
6,000 km annually during 10 years. Not as it fell into the hands of a
Madrilenian photographer called Federico (with 60,000 km) traveled
among other countries by the Croatia or Morocco and by destinies of
life, he had to leave to Brazil for work and he couldn't take it with
him (thanks Federico). I found him on Internet and with the pain of his
heart he sold it me with 90,000 km, 25 of February of 2003 from a few
kilometers away of my house.
Since then I have traveled and worked on it during
infinite hours as my appraised jewel but and I even continue doing
it. The 25 of October of the 2004 returned to change the destiny to
the van and were shipped in a container destiny Dominican Republic
and is here where at the moment, concretely in the North shore, in
Cabarete, a small town of surfer atmosphere and will reside here by
an indefinite time...perhaps a year or perhaps eight?
Equipment:
When I bought it counted on the basic camper equipment made by Westfalia,
seat-bed, pop-top, stove, sink, Electrolux frige, Propex propane heating,
45 lts fresh water tank, closets and new curtains.
Inner improvements:
Once in my hands I began a complete and deep restoration beginning
by the engine changing filters, spark plugs, belts, oils, etc. Following
by a dalia yellow painting, double battery with relay for independent
load, second fresh water tank with 45 lts (90 altogether), shower
outside with double pump, control panel of Reimo levels for you would
batt and water tanks (including it trasvase from one to another one),
Vulcano air compressor with installation and pressure gauge from the
dashboard and a 30 Lts double tank Sarman of lts to 8 bars and safety
valve, console on dashboard with writing-desk, seat of the revolving
copilot, light of Hella maps in cabin, networks carry double objects
and handles in the two front doors, equipment of sound JVC with shipper
of 12 CD, 4 Pyle loudspeakers 2 channels and subwoofer remote Pioneer
of 120W and control, two fluorescent ones of 8w in main shelf and
one in the buttock, extinguisher 3kg, digital compass with voltmeter
and inner and outer thermometer, clinometer, Chemical Wc 10 lts, light
in the closets, inverter 400w, thermal oscurecedores of windows, grids
of nocturnal ventilation with mosquito netting for front windows,
opening of the back inner door from the interior, triple taking of
current 12v with switch in dashboard and one buttock, manual control
of the two speeds of the electroventilador, inner alarm with volumetric.

the dashboard of Airlift Co (Mi), supports for roof rack
on the pop-top,
